TMR favourites Delmer Darion continue to showcase their experimental sound on their new track, ‘White Dawn Fog’. The track features mercurial vocals from Anna B Savage, who adds a whole new vibe to the gritty, challenging soundscape that underpins the track. Punishing, industrial synth sounds burst in and out of the texture, with vicious distortion and clipping guiding the track forward. The duo explain that the track is “about the best and worst of the scientific romance spirit: it’s about flying to the moon and about the ballistic missiles that first crossed the Kármán line, which were vital steps towards the development of spacecraft.” The pair’s second album, Tall Vision-of-the-Voyage is a sprawling, expansive release that blends shoegaze, ambient, industrial alt-rock and doomy-folk.
